Thought they were good but now I am disappointed
I bought these slides for my husband to replace another brand of slides. He absolutely loved them the first time he put them on and he wears them as much as possible. Here's the strange part... you'd think the nubs on the sandal would raise the foot to get more air circulation but I'm not so sure about that. He's only been wearing them for a few weeks but the foot odor trapped in the sandals is intolerable. He's had lower quality slides without the nubs that didn't smell. Maybe the material and structure of these slides hold moisture better. Okay, I wrote all of that a couple of months ago and now I'm adding this: The nubs are all falling off the shoes! It's VERY annoying because I'm finding them all over the house and unfortunately, so is my 10 month old son who spends much of his time crawling on the floor. I expected much better from Adidas and these sandals.

Believe the hype
Wow. What a difference these shoes are compared to all the other shoes I've ran in. I was using a pair of New Balance that I've had for a year and they decent shoes I thought. Actually they were complete crap after I put these shoes on. The difference was night and day. The cushion that you get from these shoes is pretty massive. I actually walked on my heels for a few seconds just to feel the really nice 'squishiness'.

I was diagnosed with arthritis when I was 19 and I've had trouble with my entire back (mostly lower), hips, and feet. I was unable to do anything until I found a medication that has supressed my arthritis (Enbrel). So for a while there I got really fat because I used to work out a lot and eat a lot, but then I had to stop working out...but the eating continued..lol. It's taken me quite awhile to overcome the laziness and get back into shape.

Now when I work out I take precautions to not jack my lower back up and also hurt my feet. I started using an Eliptical to help with the shock to my lower back and feet. After about 25 minutes on the machine, my feet start to go numb from being stationary for so long. With these shoes, my feet still become numb, but it's not as bad and it takes longer for it to happen (usually around 35m). Also I started to hit the track. Only running a lap or two for now (after the eliptical). I was really scared about it, but I had to see if I could handle it. Surpisingly I can, and I dont have ANY pain during the run, after the run, or even in the morning when I wake up.

Since I ordered these online from a different retailer, I wasnt sure what size I should order. Sometimes my shoes will be one size or half a size higher. So I order a size low since my running shoes are always the smaller size. When I got the shoes, it came with inserts that could make them half a size smaller. So that was nice...though I didnt need them. Whether they come with Amazon like that or not, I'm not sure.

Also the shoes are SLIGHTLY narrower than I'm used to, but it didnt bother me since I dont have Hobbit sized wide feet.

The addidas symbol is reflective as well as a little piece on the toe of the shoe. Havent really thought about looking in the back to see if there is a reflective piece there or not.

The only gripe I have about the shoe is the top portion where your toes go. The bend area for your toes is a little rough at first and you'll have to break it in. I was a little aggraveted at this, until I realized at the end of my workout it wasnt bothering me anymore. So after a week of using these, they should be broken in.

All in all...these are some really good running shoes. If you are thinking about getting them, then go for it.

One last thing. I got the white ones with a hint of black. Not the ones I really wanted, but they do look pretty good. I'll take pics sometime soon and upload them.

Chelsea captain John Terry believes Ronaldo will be unable to sustain last season's sensational form.

Well.... we moved this last weekend from Roseville to Plumas Lake CA. Plumas Lake is 30 mins north of Sac and 10 mins south of Marysville. We have definately been blessed during the last few weeks. With my health and the pregnancy, I seriously don't know how we got everything packed. Well, I know how and I am so thankful for our Heavenly Father who has given me the strength to accomplish this task. Jason and I were worried about the loading of the Budget Truck. We thought it would just be him and my cousin Brian because it was a friday morning. But Brian saved the day and rounded up 7 other men from our ward at church! They had that thing loaded in an hour. It was awesome!! And then saturday morning, we had 8 men from our ward here, and Jason's dad come and unload the truck in 32 mins. What a huge blessing. My mom and sister in law Loni came and cleaned our apartment and saved the day there for us. We are so thankful for the love, support, and prayers that everyone has given us. A friend today made me realize that 4 out of the 5 times we've moved, I've been pregnant! You'd think that I'd learn my lesson by now. hahaha! But we are all moved into our place in Plumas Lake. Now it's just time to unpack. So far we really like the area and the people. THe neighborhood is so nice and the people are so down to earth and friendly. It's so nice to live in a house also. And there's sooooo much room compared to any place we've ever lived in. I'll have to post some pics if I can ever find my camera. Thank you again for all of your love, support, and prayers. You guys rock!!! BTW.... I'm 34 weeks now. 6 more to go!! YAHOOO!!.

I have played nearly every NCAA fb game on the ps2 to date, and I've noticed that after a certain time, the game ceases to change. And it happened in 06. NCAA 06 was a great game and, to be frank, you're still playing that same game whether you have 07, 08, or even 09. Gameplay has changed so slightly over the past 3-4 years with the ps2 version, that I tell anyone and everyone who has a love for college football and has only a ps2... QUIT BUYING THE NEWEST VERSION. You're completely screwing yourself over by tossing away 40 bucks a year to get one or two new features and an "updated" roster. Inevitably, it's the same case for all the sport games on the ps2, the newest versions give you nary a thing that's new. As a frustrated ps2 owner, I can tell you all with confidence, STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME and all the newest versions of any sport game on old gen systems. You'll be glad you did.

Spain, in the course of less than one month, have exorcised the demons which have haunted them for over a decade.

Lets run down the list and show how Spain dispatched the superstitious demons which have haunted them so.

Demon: Quarterfinals. The Spanish have not been past the quarterfinals in the Euroepaan Championship since 1984, and havent advanced past the quarterfinals in the World Cup since 1950. Going in to Euro 2008, the mark of success on every Spanish mouth was, just get us past the quarterfinals!
